Built using rammed earth our relaxed café overlooks the vineyard and organic vegetable gardens. The lunch menu showcases fresh produce from our garden and interesting ingredients from the Providore range. We bake fresh baguettes, cakes, muffins and tarts every day. Breakfast is served from 9.00am to 11.00am and lunch from 12.00noon to 3.00pm every day. Our Estate grown wines are available in the café either by the glass or the bottle.
Food Store and Deli
The main floor at Providore is a treasure trove of unique gourmet ingredients. Our range of jams, relishes and chutneys are all made in our kitchen by hand in small batches. During the week you can see the produce being made through a large viewing window. Our cheese cabinet displays nearly fifty different cheeses from all over the world. We have daily cheese tastings. We also have a selection of rare ingredients, a range of infused olive oils and marinated olives and a gift shop with books and food themed merchandise.
We make our own verjuice, vinno cotto, tapenade, mayonnaise, dessert sauces, salad dressings and preserved fruits. We smoke our own meats, press our own olive oil and make our own wine. We have fresh egg pastas, cheese condiments, aged vinegars, and a myriad of other fascinating ingredients many with recipes attached for you to take home and try. Each day over 50 different products are presented for complimentary tasting.
