Olive Grove & Garden
Our olive grove is located about six hundred metres from the Providore tasting centre. We have a thousand trees. Two hundred trees each of the following varieties; Pendolino, Frantoia, West Australian Mission and Leccino. These Tuscan style oil varieties are used solely for the production of cold pressed extra virgin oil under the Mount of Olives Brand. We also have two hundred Kalamata trees for table olives.

Our half acre organic vegetable garden supplies fresh produce for the café. Our chefs start the day in the garden and change the menu regularly depending on what’s ready to harvest. We also have a small orchard with Quince, Fig, Lemon, Lime and Orange Trees.
We conduct free organic garden tours at 12.00 noon every day followed by a complimentary wine, olive oil and cheese tasting. We have forty free-range chickens that lay the most perfect organic eggs which we use for breakfast.
Normally we have around twenty five different varieties of vegetables and salads growing and our specialties are asparagus, strawberries, beetroot, and rhubarb.
