Sambarino Chocolate Liqueur

Sambarino is affectionately referred to as the “love child” of the Coward & Black wine label and The Margaret River Chocolate Company. It was born of an idea to create a chocolate liqueur using grape spirit from Western Australia and cocoa from West Africa, therefore acknowledging the provenance of both brands and both countries. 

The unique combination took several years to create, but resulted in an irresistible, velvety smooth chocolate liqueur unlike anything produced in Western Australia before.
The product was so popular when introduced that it was soon followed by three new varieties - after dinner mint, espresso macchiato and hazelnut in both 750ml and 375ml bottles.

These, in turn, were followed by two special edition versions of strawberry, salted caramel, both of which became so popular that they remained permanent additions to the range. 
We get feedback from people who have taken our product all over the world asking if they can buy it in their state or country because it has become their absolute go to for a refreshing drink on ice, a warm nightcap or even their favourite ice cream topping.

It has also become a highly prized addition to many recipes, including a tiramisu made by one of the owners that has never failed to impress.
