“Singapore’s Jamie Oliver” filming at Providore

Last month Pornsak Prajakwit, often referred to as “Singapore’s Jamie Oliver”, visited Providore to film a segment for his new television series. Travelling with a party of ten film crew and assistants he spent the morning harvesting Rhubarb and making Rhubarb Jam in our farm kitchen.  None of the crew had tasted or seen rhubarb so we quickly rustled up that old Aussie favourite stewed rhubarb with custard and ice-cream and they loved it.

Then it was back to the garden to meet Winston and to plant some of this year’s butternut pumpkin seeds before heading off for some filming at the Chocolate Factory.  The new series goes to air in Singapore later this year.
